Relax. Here's what's up for fall of '06. - The Wag finally finishes the album they've been grinding away at for over 2 years. It does sound very nice. It better! - Mastered projects for Behind The Beautiful and Chris Colletti Band. - Aaron Anastasi is currently finishing up a smaller EP type project - lots of guest players. Lots of spilled Coolattas. Lots of dudes sleeping on my floors upstairs will we work into the night. - Chris DelaCruz finishes a very hip little 2 song demo. More to come? I think so... stay tuned. - Aqua Closet did a song and from the sounds coming out of their faces, i think more recording from them is in order. - Drew Victor will be recording more very shortly as his 1st demo we did has evidently gotten him signed. Go Drew. This new work should be for a national release which should be out in Spring of 2007 on Pink Teeth Records. - The RingOut currently has a full album's worth of scratch material. Time to re-record everything! - Coming soon - new material set to be recorded for The New Ancients. - Also, mixing a 7 year old project from ex. Jerk Records artist Viscosity Jones. Time Always Tells. |
| Well hello there... welcome to the new Submergent Recording site. What the neck happened to good old JerkRecords Studios? Good question. I'm not sure what to tell you other than since i decided to start a new label (Submergent Music) i might as well go ahead and start a new version of the studio operation i'd been running for all these years. So basically, it's the same hot sticky basement set up (with some new gear as usual) with the same guys working the knobs, but under a new name. All Hail Submergent Recording! If you really want to know the story behind Jerkrecords go back to the Submergent Music Site and look at the History Link. |
